Lantmännen SW Seed Willow Varieties 2017

One-year SRC willow shoots.

Cuttings are produced in the winter time. Salix Energi produces long rods and short cuttings. Production is carried out in rationalised systems based on in-depth knowledge and long-term experience. The cuttings are produced in an unbroken chill chain and stored at -4°C under constant monitoring so that germination can be guaranteed. Cuttings are  packed in cardboard boxes 40 x 60 x 20 cm, long rods are packed in big cardboard boxes measuring 80 x 240 x 100 cm, on pallets.

Upon reception of the planting material, either plant it within 10 days or cold store them at -4 to -6 degrees C, for a maximum of 6 weeks.

Planting material must be handled correctly, free from fungus and pests, and of right dimensions for efficient planting
